The Site Controller is a key member of the country financial team, works directly with and is business partner for the Finance Director CEE, with an active and initiating role supporting the business optimization and growth. There is potential to grow into the Country Controller role in due time.
Main TASKS and DUTIES:
- Coordinates the month-end closing process reporting to Finance Director CEE
- Prepares Monthly report, Weekly KPI’s, 12 month Rolling Forecast
- Owns the payroll payment process (analysis and administrative process)
- Prepares and monitors the regular Capital Expenditure Requests (not being Warehouse Projects) together with Finance Director CEE
- Supports the process of Budgeting / Forecast / Cash Flow preparation for the investment project, together with the Project Controller (Breda based) and the Project Director and controls it on daily basis.
- Reports project results in close cooperation with the Project Controller (in the lead) to Project Director and CEO
- Coordinates funding process with the bank
- Responsible for VAT declarations for the Romanian entities and the compiling of the financial statements for the Romanian entities
- Works closely together with the Financial Shared Services Center and is doing the financial reporting and full Balance Sheet and P&L analysis,
- Prepares CIT declarations, real estate tax declarations and any other tax declarations required by Romania law
- Coordinates the implementation of localization package to Oracle Netsuite.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or Financial Management
- Experience of 3-7 years in finance and business controlling, ideally in an international business environment
- IFRS knowledge
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of accounting principles and income tax and VAT Romanian regulations;
- Advanced skills in financial analysis
- Experience in using accounting and budgeting
- Strong financial planning and organization skills
- Advanced knowledge of tax legislation
- Strong financial risk management skills
- Effective Communication Skills to Build Relationships.
