I am Madalina and I have been working in HR for about 8 years.
I really wanted to work in recruitment and I really appreciated being offered the chance to start an internship, right at Gi Group.
Although I was eager to try other approaches later, in other companies, I wanted to return to GI. Here I am satisfied that I have exposure to different and complex projects, in various fields of activity. Of course, each of us may have preferences for certain industries/roles but I believe that, at times, diversity can help.
In consultancy, you run into many situations that, for various reasons that may not depend on you, end up not materializing and we all know how frustrating that can be. What helps me in such cases is the support and understanding of my team, who often face similar situations.
Moreover, the flexibility and autonomy I have, encourage me to find the resources, energy, and enthusiasm I need to start all over again from scratch, on every new project.
Recruitment gives me the chance to be curious, to ask questions, to be reluctant, and to be cautious, where I feel the need to be, the chance to find my own solutions to problems, or the chance to ask for help if the case.
I like to meet different types of people and, in particular, to learn from those I work with, colleagues, clients or candidates.
Madalina operates in Bucharest but can service projects throughout the country.
